On Monday, 20 September 2021, in the afternoon at 16:40, in Kaunas, on Partizanų street near No. 87G, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Volvo S80 and a Peugeot. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Volvo, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
