On Friday, 24 September 2021, in the morning at around 7:00, in Kaunas, on Bivylių street, at the junction with Romainių street, a collision occurred. The collision involved an Opel Signum and a Volkswagen Sharan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Opel (26 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. The 35-year-old driver of the Volkswagen had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
