On Saturday, 25 September 2021, in the afternoon at 16:55, in Kaunas, on K. Donelaičio street, at the junction with Žemaičių street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen and a BMW 525. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (3 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
