On Sunday, 17 October 2021, at night at 1:29, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr., at the junction with J. Basanavičiaus al., a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot Partner and a Toyota Prius. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
