On Wednesday, 27 October 2021, in the morning at 8:25, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Klaipėda–Liepoja main road (kilometre 1.45), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Jeep Commander and an Audi Q5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Jeep (24 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
