On Thursday, 28 October 2021, in the afternoon at 11:30, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 241, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Zafira and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
