On Friday, 29 October 2021, in the evening at around 20:00, in Panevėžio district municipality, Paberžio village, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 121), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 Avant and a Renault Megane. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
