On Saturday, 30 October 2021, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Kaunas, on Prietilčio street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 311 CDI, a Renault Trafic and a BMW. Two people were injured — the 47-year-old driver of the BMW (treated as an outpatient) and a 60-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
