On Friday, 5 November 2021, in the afternoon at 15:04, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Pasvalys–Ryga main road (kilometre 37.50), a Peugeot 607 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.21‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
