On Saturday, 13 November 2021, in the evening at 17:05, in Radviliškio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Šiauliai main road (kilometre 58.10), a vehicle hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person died — a 50-year-old pedestrian (later died from the injuries). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed traffic rule violations that contributed to the accident. He fled the scene. A 50-year-old pedestrian was drunk (1.95‰). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
