On Friday, 24 December 2021, in the afternoon at 12:50, in Šiauliai, on Aido street, at the junction with Dainų street, a Toyota hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Toyota (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
