On Saturday, 25 December 2021, in the evening at 17:10, in Zarasų district municipality, Kamariškių village, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 171), a head-on collision while overtaking occurred. Two people were injured — the 30-year-old driver of the Opel Astra (hospitalized) and the 47-year-old driver of the Opel Zafira (treated as an outpatient).
