On Sunday, 2 January 2022, in the morning at 10:45, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 273.80), a Toyota Yaris ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Toyota, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober.
