On Sunday, 2 January 2022, in the afternoon at 14:28, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 102.70), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Suzuki Vitara registered in Latvia and a Mitsubishi Outlander registered in Estonia.
