On Tuesday, 11 January 2022, in the evening at 21:05, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Kėdainiai–Krekenava–Panevėžys national road (kilometre 44.45), a head-on collision occurred. He was drunk (1.75‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. The 49-year-old driver of the Renault was drunk (0.82‰).
