On Friday, 28 January 2022, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Sudmantų village, on Palangos pl. near No. 16, at a public-transport stop, a collision occurred. The accident was caused by the 72-year-old driver of the Toyota (30 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
