On Friday, 28 January 2022, in the evening at 20:45, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr. near No. 24, at the junction with J. Basanavičiaus al., a collision while turning right occurred. The collision involved a Seat Alhambra and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Seat, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (0.75‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was snowing, the road surface was wet.
