On Wednesday, 9 February 2022, in the afternoon at 13:34, in Vilnius, on T. Narbuto street, at the junction with Sėlių street, a Toyota RAV4 ran off the road. One person was injured — a 36-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of a Toyota Prius (10 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
