On Saturday, 19 February 2022, in the evening at 21:20, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Jonava–Kėdainiai–Šeduva national road (kilometre 4.60), a BMW rolled over. Two people were injured — the 21-year-old driver of the BMW (hospitalized) and a 29-year-old passenger of the BMW (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. A 29-year-old passenger of the BMW was drunk (1.92‰). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, a strong wind was blowing, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
