On Wednesday, 23 March 2022, in the evening at 22:10, in Klaipėda, on H. Manto street near No. 90, a BMW 540 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person died — a 18-year-old pedestrian. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the BMW (25 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
