On Wednesday, 12 October 2022, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Klaipėda, on H. Manto street, a MAN hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person died — a 73-year-old pedestrian (later died from the injuries). The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the MAN (38 years of driving experience), who violated passenger-transport rules. The driver was sober.
