On Sunday, 27 March 2022, in the afternoon at 16:58, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 24.20), a BMW ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the BMW (2 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.02‰ blood alcohol).
