On Tuesday, 26 April 2022, in the morning at around 8:00, in Kaunas, on Pakraščio street near No. 20, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 and a Volvo S80. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
