On Wednesday, 27 April 2022, in the afternoon at 16:30, in Kaunas, on Pramonės pr., at the junction with Kovo 11-osios street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Scania, a Schmitz Cargobull and a BMW 1er Reihe. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Scania (26 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
