On Saturday, 21 May 2022, in the evening at 19:30, in Kaunas, on Šv. Gertrūdos street near No. 21, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota and a Mercedes-Benz C 220 CDI. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Toyota (12 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober. The 34-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
