On Wednesday, 15 June 2022, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Vilkaviškio district municipality, on Gedimino street near No. 13, in a yard, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 3ER Reihe and a vehicle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the BMW (24 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
