On Friday, 8 July 2022, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 19), at a gas station, a Toyota Corolla Verso ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Toyota (12 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.76‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 80 km/h.
