On Wednesday, 13 July 2022, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Šilutės district municipality, on Liepų street near No. 2, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Zafira and a Toyota RAV4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Opel (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
