On Wednesday, 31 August 2022, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Šiauliai, on Tilžės street, at the junction with J. Sondeckio street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Saab 9-3 and a Volvo S40. One person was injured — a 33-year-old passenger of the Volvo (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Saab (7 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
