On Wednesday, 24 August 2022, in the morning at around 10:00, in Vilnius, on Fabijoniškių street near No. 11, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Saab 9-3 and an Opel. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Saab, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
