On Sunday, 11 September 2022, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kaunas, on Kovo 11-osios street near No. 118, at the junction with Alaušo street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 308 and a Skoda Superb. One person was injured — a 7-year-old passenger of the Skoda (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Peugeot (29 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober.
