On Sunday, 9 October 2022, in the morning at around 7:00, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 160.15), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Signum and a Skoda. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
