On Sunday, 20 January 2019, in the evening at 19:08, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 160.20), an Opel Astra ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Opel (22 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
