On Sunday, 23 October 2022, at night at around 2:00, in Utenos district municipality, on Vaižganto street near No. 52, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525 D and a Volvo S60. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
