On Sunday, 23 October 2022, in the evening at around 18:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 266), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Audi (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
