On Sunday, 27 November 2022, in the morning at 10:22, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Prienai–Marijampolė main road (kilometre 53.92), an Opel Astra-G registered in Poland rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Opel (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
