On Saturday, 26 November 2022, in the morning at around 7:00, in Kaunas, on Žemaičių street near No. 8A, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and a Mercedes-Benz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
