On Tuesday, 6 December 2022, in the morning at 8:15, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 141.81), a Mercedes-Benz CLS 350 CDI ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
