On Saturday, 31 December 2022, in the evening at around 18:00, in Rokiškio district municipality, on Respublikos street, at the junction with Perkūno street, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision while turning right occurred. The collision involved a Mazda CX-7 and a BMW 7ER Reihe. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 66-year-old driver of the Mazda (30 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
