On Sunday, 15 January 2023, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Radviliškio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Šiauliai main road (kilometre 30), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved an Audi A3 and a Peugeot 307. One person was injured — the 54-year-old driver of the Peugeot (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Audi, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
