On Friday, 20 January 2023, at night at 4:29, in Vilniaus district municipality, on A. Mickevičiaus street, at the junction with Parčevskių street, a Toyota Prius registered in Netherlands ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Toyota (19 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
