On Saturday, 25 February 2023, in the morning at 7:11, in Rokiškio district municipality, on the Zarasai–Bradesiai–Obeliai national road (kilometre 36.85), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Outlander and a Sisu SM300. Five people were injured — the 40-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (treated as an outpatient), a 32-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi (treated as an outpatient), a 38-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi (treated as an outpatient), a 41-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi (treated as an outpatient) and a 38-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (22 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
