On Thursday, 12 September 2024, in the evening at 20:30, in Rokiškio district municipality, Galažerių village, on the Zarasai–Bradesiai–Obeliai national road (kilometre 36.90), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Saab 9-3 and a Scania. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Saab (24 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He was drunk (2.73‰ blood alcohol).
