On Friday, 17 March 2023, in the afternoon at 16:50, in Utenos district municipality, on the Utena–Sudeikiai–Alaušas–Dusetos regional road (kilometre 7), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 63-year-old driver of the Audi (39 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He was drunk (0.73‰ blood alcohol).
