On Saturday, 8 April 2023, in the afternoon at 13:32, in Tauragės district municipality, on Upynos street, a Suzuki GSX-R 600 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. Two people were injured — the 31-year-old driver of a Suzuki (hospitalized) and a 49-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Suzuki GSX-R 600 (6 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
