On Saturday, 15 April 2023, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Šiauliai, on Sodo street near No. 4, an Opel Vivaro hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 82-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Opel (10 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober.
