On Saturday, 17 June 2023, in the evening at 20:37, in Tauragės district municipality, Juodpetrių village, on the Ryga–Šiauliai–Tauragė–Kaliningradas main road (kilometre 144.85), a BMW 525 D rolled over. One person was injured — a 15-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
