On Sunday, 18 February 2024, in the morning at around 5:00, in Tauragės district municipality, on the Ryga–Šiauliai–Tauragė–Kaliningradas main road (kilometre 147.70), a BMW X5 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the BMW (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
