On Monday, 19 June 2023, in the morning at 9:26, in Kaunas, on H. ir O. Minkovskių street, at the junction with Užnemunės street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault and a Hyundai Genesis. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 88-year-old driver of the Renault (40 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
