On Wednesday, 21 June 2023, in the evening at 17:18, in Vilnius, on Vilniaus street, at the junction with Kalvarijų street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Dacia and a Skoda Octavia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 80-year-old driver of the Dacia (30 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
